this was done yesterday (4/30)….i get another turtle answer and i figured, why not try to draw a ninja turtle freehand?

after all, from 1990-1993 i practiced drawing the ninja turtles diligently (yes i have some of my kid drawings hidden safely with one group picture of the ninja turtles) and it’s what….over 20 years since the last time i drew a non-chibi-anime-like of a ninja turtle. i did it as proper as i could. looks like i still have the touch ^_^

hook hook hook — was thinking of just drawing the hook hand…but bleh i did that already. after studying intensely for my bio exam, this was a break i needed…but like studying my bad habit is to “perfect” things. i want to be like the other draw something-ers that would sketch something so wonderfully. me, i’m still trying to figure out what colors i need to use (dammit). i added the original pic that i used on the corner to help reference everything… :)

this was done last week; definitely posted this for my hardcore daft punk friends and family on fb…thought i did here. definitely felt like i had no room to draw this so i angled one of them all weird. everything was weird imho. but i felt pretty good after trying…

so…the person i’m drawing this for said in the previous answer (which was “pink” and all i did was paint the color pink on the drawing area): “lol i thought you were going to draw an awesome picture lol” so i was like fine…whatever the next word will be i’ll make sure i’ll draw it exceptionally (up to a certain point) since i’m being challenged and all.

so i chose moses. considering easter had passed and i remember that the “ten commandments” movie always plays on abc on easter day. so…here it is. to the best that i can with the little amount of ink i could use. (yes i messed up and i couldn’t put more detail on the rock he was leaning on) and yes i purposely wrote the numbers in roman numeral form since i didn’t have enough ink to write in aramaic (or try to rather).

magnet was one of the options…all you gotta really do is draw a U-shaped object, red, with white ends. didn’t want that…i wanted challenge. this is the same friend that couldn’t view any of drawings and it would just make me draw. i think her app is flawed.
